Colbert on Immigration Reform: 'When Will We Build the Border Wall with Florida?'
July 18, 2013Media
Last night Stephen Colbert lampooned the inability of the Republican-controlled House of Representatives to get anything done, and cited the example of the impasse over the Immigration Bill. Sure, the bill massively increases the amount of border security with Mexico, Colbert conceded, but Virginia Rep. Bob Goodlatte makes a very good point, Colbert says, when he points out that it overlooks "the need for border agents in the interior of our country."
He couldn't be more right. "When will we build the border wall with Florida?" Colbert says. "We can't let those maniacs in our country. It's legal to shoot each other down there."
Watch. It's a shortie but goodie.
