Randall Terry's Toxic, Circular Logic

Randall Terry, the Operation Rescue founder who most recently made headlines by protesting Sonia Sotomayor's confirmation, issued a warning to President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi at the National Press Club on Tuesday. The health plan they're proposing, he argued, will result in the death of thousands of innocent babies (it will, in reality, provide women with reasonable access to health care).

"Do not push people to the breaking point," Terry said, adding that Democrats "will only have themselves to blame for the chaos and the convulsions that follow from the planting of this evil seed."

If nothing else, it's worth taking a close look at the fractured logic of his assertions -- especially those regarding a commitment to "non-violence."
