We need a radical new economic approach. Since Obama won because of the youth vote, I think they should have a contest for economics students all over the country. Ask them to design a program to get the economy working and make a transition to sustainability. The contest should have guidelines, like the plan must result in zero emissions and full employment by 2020, and include a plan to give every person decent health care. Pick the top 20 plans and finance them to work together to craft a program for action.
