The question has been asked, what would I, as a citizen of this nation, like to see Barack Obama do with his first 100 days in office. Being a student of history, and a believer in law, I would like to see habeas corpus restored. Also, a repeal of the Patriot and Military Commissions acts. One of the biggest things that needs to be done, which could not be accomplished in the first 100 days, but I would like to see started, is a general strengthening of the Constitution to prevent the grab for power of a unitary executive in the future, as we have witnessed in the past eight years. And finally, starting to build on his campaign promises of creating new jobs through change in our energy policies and public-infrastructure projects.
