Barack Obama's presidential victory marked the opening of a door. If he is true to his word, even as true as he can be, we may make some progress toward reclaiming our freedom and dignity as Americans. If he is not, we will be in for a crisis on virtually every socioeconomic front. If Obama is disingenuous, he will do more damage to the faith that America's system of government works than G.W. Bush could have done with a third purloined term of office. Please, Mr. Obama: Do what’s right for the nation.
