Go in New Direction on Economy, Health Care, Rights and International Relations

In my perfect world, President-elect Obama would address the following four issues: 1. Torture -- Close the Guantanamo Bay detention center and prosecute those involved in torture. "We were just following orders" did not work as a defense at Nuremberg, and it shouldn't work as one now. 2. The Economy -- Invest in green jobs, the infrastructure and mending safety nets. Cut the Pentagon's budget. 3. Health Care -- Other countries have figured it out; we can, too. 4. International Relations -- More diplomacy, less war. Listen to other countries instead of thinking that we have all the answers. And we would work with him.
