Obama Must Overturn the Global Gag Rule

News & Politics

I voted for Al Gore in 2000. But when Bush took office in January 2001 I was ready to give him a chance. Then in the first week of his presidency he signed the global gag rule, limiting access to family planning and health care for impoverished women all over the world. This marked the beginning of eight long dark years. I want Obama to overturn the global gag rule in his first one hundred days to symbolize the light breaking through the darkness.
