This just in: McCain will participate in tonight's debate.

From the McCain campaign:

The McCain campaign is resuming all activities and the senator will travel to the debate this afternoon.
"Resuming all activities?" We hadn't noticed that they'd stopped any.

CNN anchor Tony Harris points out that McCain had originally said he that he would suspend his campaign "until a deal is done on this":
