Colbert On Dumbledore's Outing: "Just How Curious Is Curious George?" [VIDEO]

In his recurring segment "Tip of the Hat, Wag of the Finger," Stephen Colbert expressed some discontent over the news that Harry Potter wizard Dumbledore is gay.

"A wag of my finger at gay wizards. I've said it for years: children's book authors are trying to turn us gay," he said. "Just look at Curious George. How curious is he? He seems awfully fond of that man in the yellow hat."

Colbert, who warned gay-friendly writers that everyone knows the implicit meaning of the Dr. Suess classic "There's a Wocket in my Pocket", came up with one solution. He suggested that all kid's books contain a "brief, but graphic," heterosexual sex scene, "so they know what goes where."

Earlier, Colbert gave a surprising tip of the hat to his nemesis the New York Times because his newly released book climbed to Number 1 on their bestseller list.

"The market has spoken," Colbert screamed in joy. "This week I outsold all other authors, which means I'm a better author than Khalid Hosseini and Cormac McCarthy."
