You know, the silver lining of the whole Mark Foley scandal is that it might just save the constitution and prevent nuclear war--and not just by helping the Democrats in the midterm elections.
People are just not going to trust the people who brought you Predatorgate with godlike powers to rule outside the law. These clowns can't even protect kids in the halls of Congress.

Domestic spying will continue while the government appeals an August 17 ruling that found the program unconstitutional.
CINCINNATI - The Bush administration can continue its warrantless surveillance program while it appeals a judge's ruling that the program is unconstitutional, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday.The president has said the program is needed in the war on terrorism; opponents argue it oversteps constitutional boundaries on free speech, privacy and executive powers.
The unanimous ruling from a three-judge panel of the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals gave little explanation for the decision.
