Plame, Wilson suing Cheney, Libby and Rove

Valerie Plame, the former CIA operative whose identity was revealed in a New York Times article in July 2003 is filing suit against Vice President Dick Cheney, the former Vice Presidential Chief of Staff I. Lewis Scooter Libby and presidential adviser Carl Rove.

Plame, along with husband, former U.S. Ambassador Joe Wilson, are claiming that Plame's covert identity was leaked, and her career ruined, as a form of revenge against Wilson after he wrote an opinion piece criticizing the Bush administration in The New York Times.

In this clip, Plame and Wilson explain at a press conference why they are seeking to hold Cheney et al. accountable.
