Medea strikes again

In 2003, Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin was able to confront Donald Rumsfeld in the middle of a congressional press conference. Earlier this week, she was able to disrupt Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's speech in Congress.

In a less publicized protest, as this Daily Show clip proves, she attempted to heckle Jon Stewart during a stand-up act in January 2004. However, unlike Rumsfeld and Maliki, Stewart was quick on his feet and had a witty comeback:

Medea: "Iraqis want the troops to leave, bring them home now!"

Stewart: "Yeah, that's not what your mother told me last night! She favors greater troop presence and a multinational force."
