I'm Totally Psyched About This Abortion!

Jessica Valenti points to the Onion's latest, I'm Totally Psyched About This Abortion!, which "takes on the dumb-ass notion that women are just lining up to get abortions."

I've got an abortion to plan, and I just know it's going to be the best non-anesthetized invasive uterine surgery ever!
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that refrain. Seriously. And speaking of seriously, Kevin T. Keith's Stegosaurus of the Week (more brains in the butt than in the head...), Pete at Marching For Life, wrote:
"Sorry ma’am, if you hadn’t had sex you wouldn’t have gotten pregnant, it’s not the HMO’s fault for not supporting your promiscuity while not married. . . ."
Pete also notes that Soylent Green is people. (Feministing, Sufficientscruples)
