NBA Star Gets Political

Washington Wizards star Etan Thomas wants to round up Republicans and take them on a trip to the hood.

On Book TV this weekend, Washington Wizards star Etan Thomas spoke about his new poetry book, More than an Athlete. He open with a poem titled, Field Trip.

"I want to take some cats on a field trip

I want to get one of those big yellow buses with no air conditioner and no seatbelts

Roundup Bill O'Reilly, Pat Buchanan, Trent Lott, Sean Hannity, Dick Cheney, Jeb Bush, Bush Junior and Bush Senior, Giuliani, Katherine Harris, that little Tucker Carlson and any other right wing conservative Republicans and take them all on a trip to the hood

Not to do no 30-minute documentary

I mean, I want to drop them off and leave them there

Let them become one with the other side of the tracks"
