FOX Catches on to Colbert Phenomenon

This clip from FOX news discusses the "left wing blogospheres" angry response to mainstream media's disapproving reaction to Stephen Colbert's address at the White House Correspondents' dinner. Richard Cohen, an op-ed columnist for "The Washington Post" received criticism from bloggers for condemning the speech, saying Colbert "was not just a failure as a comedian but rude." FOX references the popularity of AlterNet executive editor Don Hazen's article "Stephen Colbert: New American Hero" as well as the web site "thankyoustephencolbert.org." Contrary to Cohen, Hazen called the speech "one of the bravest, most subversive performances in memory."
