Rove to be charged with Perjury?
After a "grueling" grilling with the Grand Jury, his record-tying fifth, Rove described the experience as "hell," according to MSNBC via Raw Story.
Awwwwww, Rove didn't like questions. Jesus. Questions are bound to be the least of Rove's worries when he enters the special level of hell reserved for sociopathic political svengalis.
According to the MSNBC report, Rove is "more worried, not less, that he is going to get indicted."
Now the NY Times is reporting that "Patrick J. Fitzgerald, the special counsel in the CIA leak case, is expected to decide in the next two to three weeks whether to bring perjury charges against Karl Rove."
Fitzgerald can't actually "bring" the charges himself, of course, he has to bring the evidence to the Grand Jury who would ostensibly bring the charges. The Baron tells me of an old saying that a Grand Jury would indict a Ham Sandwich if the prosecutor asked them to, but in this case more power to 'em. And besides, who doesn't believe in the Ness-ian integrity of Patrick Fitzgerald at this point? (RawStory)
