Malkin can't take what she dishes

UPDATE: The full article from your PEEK writer is HERE.

Melissa covered the Santa Cruz/Michelle Malkin insanity last week where highly-trafficked right wing blogger Malkin published the contact info of nonviolent antiwar protesters who subsequently received creepy death threats by both voice- and email. Like this one from "Hermy":

Girls (and other assorted shitdicks),
My sincere hope is that a couple hundred of the local patriots take a day off work for your next anarchist event, and come down to your little shithole with some axe handles and bust your fucking heads.
Short of that, I certainly hope the Feds stop sending money to your dicklicking junior college.
Prompted by Malkin's unapologetic stance, a blogger published her contact information, leading to a similar response. According to Malkin: "I am now forced to remove one of my children from school and move my family..."

Which is awful. Which is the point. Nobody, their family least of all, should have to deal with death threats as a result of political discourse. It's profoundly un-American and it's not the rules of the game. As a "journalist" Malkin should've known better.

The blogger that published her info should've known better too. They both made unconscionably stupid decisions that could've had distrastrous consequences. I hope absolutely no harm comes to Malkin and her family but if she's outraged she should clean her own house first (It should also be noted that while Malkin had no qualms about publishing protesters' contact info, I can't seem to find any record of the actual harassment emails on her website... UPDATE: Found them.)

As for the blogger that posted Malkin's info. Nice job. You just fell into the oldest trap in the book; create the appearance of equivalence when a supposed Leading Light of the Right violates a rule so obvious and self-evident it need not even be stated.
