Desperate times call for kick-ass energy conferences
April 25, 2006
Just about every top peak oil theorist, sustainability expert, and energy writer you'd want to see is going to be at the three-day Local Energy Solutions Conference starting this week in New York City on Thursday. Kind of relevant, given that gas prices is suddenly a fascinating topic of discussion, no?
At the conference, you'll get to hear from luminaries such as Michael Klare, James Howard Kunstler, Matt Savinar, Michael Ruppert and the list goes on.
You can register for the ">conference here, and there's still a need for volunteers.
If you can't make it, it's not too late to help sponsor the event.
Look for coverage on the conference on AlterNet in the coming days.
