Cheney booed by baseball fans (video)

Dick Cheney emerged from his bunker long enough to toss the first pitch at the Washington Nationals first home game yesterday. He was roundly booed by the fans.

ThinkProgress jokes: "The good news: Cheney’s pitch landed in the dirt, not in someone’s face."

In the clip below, the Fox reporter just keeps talking over the dampened audio of the booing.

Watching the game on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, Garrett Graff notes that they went to commercial before Cheney's ceremonial pitch, asking if it "Might... be related to the anticipated round of 'boos' that rained down from the stands when the Veep took the field?"
