Our [right wing] noise in Iraq

I've read accounts of commanding officers riling the troops with cries of 9/11 so I'm not entirely shocked that last week's Zogby poll showed that 85% of the troops believe we're in Iraq "to retaliate for Saddam's role in the 9-11 attacks..."

But Wonkette's research may have uncovered the reason for the ignorance: right wing news. Yes, this is just another discovery of something we all knew in our gut, but each new proof helps to at least dispel the feeling of unreality one gets when reading polls or watching the news...

After discovering they'd been blocked from military computers, Wonkette did some research on who is blocked from reaching the troops and who isn't.
