International Woman's Day rally brutally suppressed in Iran

Iranian security forces attacked feminists and human rights activists as they gathered to mark International Women's Day in a Tehran park yesterday. According to eyewitnesses, security personnel charged the crowd shortly after the protest began. They beat many protesters severely, including an elderly woman.
