Fate of Jesusland hangs in the balance

American televangelist Pat Robertson's vindictive comments about Ariel Sharon may have doomed his plan for "Jesusland" a $50 million Biblical themepark in Galilee. [Hat tip to Julia]

Chris in Paris writes:

The Israeli Toursim Minister had been negotiating a special lease with American Christian organizations, led by Robertson, for land to be developed near many historical sites in Israel. After Roberston's latest outrageous attack, this time on Sharon, Israel has decided to "stop all contact" with Robertson or anyone who supports Robertson's statements. Good for them.
