Video: War on war on Christmas

News & Politics

Bob Knight of Culture and Family Institute debated Air America's Sam Seder on CNN and, if you'll pardon my Cheney, got his ass kicked [VIDEO or read transcript HERE].

I have to admit to a recent conversation where I dissed progressives and liberals for being less funny and less focused on the implications of their debates, especially when it comes to TV -- but not so here.

Although the wisdom of inviting a Jew to come debate a Christian on the War on Christmas is debatable, Seder was funny when appropriate and appropriately pissed off when it came time.

He opened by discussing Christmas's WMD capability and its tie to Al Qaeda (learned through the torture of an elf) before brandishing Fox's "Holiday Party" invite and the First Lady's "Happy Holidays" declaration.

Knight, dull and drab by comparison, did the usual "this or that kid couldn't sing or say this or that" before closing with a Nazi analogy. Seder took offense, both pointing out that the Puritans also outlawed Christmas and that comparing Jews and others who don't want their children to be praising Jesus in public schools to Nazis is the height of contemptible Christmas season pandering for fund raising.

Now, if you really want to know who's out to get Christmas, you need only check out this slideshow courtesy of the Sea Hag.
