Good press for sale

Tom DeLay's bosom buddy and lobbyist to the Republican stars Jack Abramoff didn't confine his pay outs to politicians. Being the well-rounded crook that he is, he made sure to initiate a media "campaign," buying columns favorable to his clients.

Murray Waas writes: "A syndicated columnist and senior fellow at the Cato Institute, Doug Bandow, resigned earlier this week from the libertarian think tank after it was learned that he had accepted payments from disgraced and indicted Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff for writing 'op-ed articles favorable to positions of some of Abramoffs clients,' Business Week Online reported tonight."
