Apology or apologist?

A BBC story titled "Miller's 'sorry' about WMD inaccuracies" includes this quote from the Judy:


I'm deeply sorry our intelligence community got it wrong. I am deeply sorry that the President was given a national intelligence estimate which concluded that Saddam Hussein had biological and chemical weapons and a active weapons programme. [">BBC]
As in: Don't blame me for intelligence failure. Funny, I thought that was Dubya's line. The article ought to have been titled, "Miller, apologist for WMD inaccuracies."
