Abramoff may give a dozen kisses

From the Post on the Abramoff investigations: "At the same time, prosecutors in Washington have been sifting through evidence of what they believe is a corruption scheme involving at least a dozen lawmakers and their former staff members, many of whom worked closely on legislation with Mr. Abramoff and accepted gifts and favors from him."

That's a number far larger than the "at least six" or so lawmakers the press has estimated in recent weeks in current reports. As Josh Marshall has noted, Abramoff is going to have to start dishing out names to avoid the harshest sentencing.

Who are the names? Geov Parrish did a great rundown of the major players in the Abramoff case we know about this week for AlterNet.
