Aspirational hunger

A grossly emaciated mannequin at the Stella Mccartney store in New York inspires Gawker to come up with the two words that say it all: "aspirational hunger".

Though it is a little amusing to note that Stella's animal rights activism seems to have a new credo: starve people not pets.

P.S.: The above also makes this quote from Radar Online's item on disgraced model Kate Moss all the more telling:

"Kate has always had a horrible cocaine problem, but for these companies to dismiss her now is ridiculous because people will only start hunting for the other ones," says one top fashion editor. "All the girls are doing coke again. If you held everyone to the same standard, no one would be left to model the freakin’ clothes!"
Unless the industry embraces the inevitable and hires skeletons -- drug-free emaciation at its finest.
