Fire FEMA's Mike Brown
TalkLeft calls on Bush to fire FEMA's Mike Brown. Crooks and Liars has video of U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Fla., calling for Brown's firing back in January. Wexler wanted Brown out because he gave away $30 million to a Florida region unscathed by Hurricane Francis.
Brown was never qualified to run FEMA in the first place. Laura Rosen notes that Brown is an estate lawyer with little emergency management experience. Brown took over FEMA in 2002 after his predecessor jumped ship to do contract work in Iraq.
