DeLay conspiracy theory (video)

DeLay went on CNN to float his theory that Ronnie Earle has cooked this indictment up as a political tool with Nancy Pelosi and the DCCC [VIDEO].

When pressed for evidence by an incredulous Wolf Blitzer, DeLay (who stumbled for a minute on his talking points regurgitation) responded that he had solid evidence but that he would only present it when it was "timely" (he'll give his cell-mates first peeks).

Nancy Pelosi wasted no time responding to the "false allegations." From Brendan Daly, her communications director: "Mr. DeLay's allegations are completely false. They are a desperate act of a desperate man."

With all the extra time in prison DeLay can start thinking about alien abductions and the freemasons. (ThinkProgress)
