A comprehensive Katrina timeline

ThinkProgress has posted an excellent, comprehensive timeline of events showing the utter lack of response from the federal government, and can be used to rebut arguments that the state and local officials weren't as on top of things as they should have been. An excerpt from Saturday, August 28:
