Iraq war claims another casualty

Last week, Editor and Publisher reported what appears to be a sad new milestone in the Iraq war: one American killed another after arguing over the war.

Straight from the E&P article:

It happened at Floyd County [Kentucky] flea market on Thursday, when two friends, who were firearms vendors there, drew guns after quarreling about the war. Douglas Moore, 65, of Martin, who backs the war, shot and killed Harold Wayne Smith, 56, of Manchester, who opposed it, according to investigators.
Moore was released from custody soon after the shooting when police determined he was acting in self-defense.

Yet another reason why guns and politics just don't mix.
