Constitutional humor

From Juan Cole comes this little ditty: "They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore."

So now that you've got the bread, get the meat. This article recommended by The Baron provides a refreshingly clear overview of why the insurgency can neither win nor lose, why the Iraqi constitution is far from agreed upon, and why the term "Iraqi" doesn't have a whole lotta meaning.
