CNN's political Play of the Week was the impressive netroots campaign, choreographed by Bob Brigham of the Swing State Project blog, in support of Democrat Paul Hackett's recent near-miss for congress.
Brigham and his partner Tim Tagaris showed that they didn't need no stinking establishment to raise, as Brigham put it: "cold, hard cash." In fact, they even raised more money than the Republican party.
If the name Brigham sounds familiar perhaps it's because he was responsible for the knockout post in response to a Democratic party insider's boasting, reported by Peek late last week. The video may be a nice light digest on the netroots campaign but follow this post to witness the scrappy brawling that gets to the nitty gritty of what the opposition party's gonna look like over the next decade...
