'Throat' book not deep enough...

News & Politics

First the Post got scooped by Vanity Fair, and now this: "Bob Woodward's new book on Deep Throat, The Secret Man 'is not supposed to be in bookstores until next Wednesday,' but USA Today 'was able to buy it Thursday at a store in Fairfax County, Va., that had put copies out for sale,'" writes Taegan Goddard. "In the book, Woodward says Mark Felt nearly lost his cover when he once denied being Deep Throat in testimony before a grand jury and then withdrew his denial when a Justice Department official reminded him he was under oath.
