The Media That Matters Film Festival is opening this week in Washington, DC, where you can check out loads of short films by young, independent artist-activists that tackle gay rights, juvenile crime, multiracial families and more. This was the nugget from their website that got me: "You’ll see [...] hip-hop street organizers rapping with Walter Mondale." Not to be missed, folks. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other politicos from Campus Progressives and MediaRights. RSVP today!
