Karl Rove Calling

Everything I know, I learned from the GOP. Why, without these folks I'd still be walking around thinking reporters call administration officials to get information -- preferably the double super secret kind. Hah! Not in the Bush White House, according to the NYT: "Asked by investigators how he knew enough to leave Mr. Novak with the impression that his information was accurate, Mr. Rove said he had heard parts of the story from other journalists but had not heard Ms. Wilson's name."

Just so we're clear on this: when a top Bush administration official needs classified CIA information, he gets on the phone and calls ... Bob Novak?
