Fitzgerald casting a wide net
July 27, 2005News & Politics
Everyone's talking about the "wide net" that prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald is casting in the leak investigation, fueled by a front-page Washington Post article today. No startling revelations in the article, but Steve Benen sums up the importance of it: "[T]he scope of Fitzgerald's investigation may very well be as broad as the massive Bush administration fraud used to launch the invasion of Iraq.
