Jesus Christ mega-manager?

On the one hand, Fred Clark pulls this quote from Ted Haggard, recently described as the head of America's most powerful megachurch: "They're pro-free markets, they're pro-private property. ... That's what evangelical stands for." (Clark then demolishes it with an exhaustive list of Christianity's preeminent thinkers). On the other, Nico Pitney reports that while "3 billion people live on less than 2 bucks a day. Now just over 8 million people worldwide control $31 TRILLION in assets. In other words, one-tenth of one percent of the world’s population controls one-quarter of the world’s assets." Haggard must be so proud. (Think Progress and Slacktivist)
