'I am not my cock'

*Warning: As if you couldn't guess from the title, this post is filled with profanity. Yet it's also filled with a certain wisdom, so if you don't like profanity with your wisdom -- or if you don't think this is wisdom at all, just some cheap simulacrum thereof -- then read no further. But then how will you know if it's wise or not unless you read it? You won't. Back to the post:

"And neither is any other man. There's been a lot of discussion about this on the blogs in the last few days. Apparently, there seems to be a widely held belief amongst even liberal men, that male humans are first and formost nothing but a cock. After that, balls, then eyes, then rage, and somewhere way down the line, they become capable of speech, thought, and memory," writes Ross A. Lincoln, responding to a number of blogs in which men appear to equivocate and fiddle back and forth on the subject of rape. "I have never raped anyone. I don't think that's somethig to be proud of. It's the default fucking setting that every goddamned man on this stupid fucking planet ought to have. You can't be proud of not raping anymore than you can be proud of not shitting on yourself whenever you laugh." Read the whole post to do it justice. Read the comments and follow-up post as well.
