Times caught with pants down

The Times inadvertently posted an unfinished version of its feature Pope piece on the web including the words "need some quote from supporter." The boys at Powerline contend that "The Times' criticisms are ready to go, a few good words for the Pope are an afterthought," but that's just ideological hooey. We're as critical of the Times as the next person -- perhaps moreso -- but read the article and decide for yourself whether there isn't plenty of respect and praise preceding the gaffe.
