Lessons from losers

The Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) is twitching as citizen-powered groups and bloggers are helping shape the future of the Democratic party. Their protestations might carry an eyedropper full of weight were they a group of winners. Money quote from DLC "CEO" Al From on MoveOn, Michael Moore and bloggers: "(these people are) elites, people who sit in their basements all the time and play on their computers." Yeah, that sounds more elite than, say, being the CEO of the DLC helping shape policy in DC. (via David Sirota)
