GOP voters get what they voted for (Part II)

Kos observes, with just a sprinkling of I-told-you-so, that Bush's budget cuts deeply into one of his core constituency's pet programs, cotton subsidies. They're pissed, of course, but Kos comments: "Believe it or not, he [Bush] also didn't campaign on slashing the education budget either. Weird, how that works, huh?" (DailyKos)
