Bush's SS ratings going down, down...

RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman's most recent letter, a rousing roundup of the GOP roadtrip to scare Americans into supporting the privatization of Social Security, included this: "Public surveys demonstrate that a majority of Americans recognize the Social Security system faces problems and needs to be fixed." Perhaps, but they don't want Bush to do it. According to a USA Today poll, Bush's support on SS took a dive from 43% to 35% over the past three weeks. (Cursor)
