Bush says 'F'-you to GAO

In scandals of yore, the perp would slink away in shame (or something crafted to resemble it), but the BOLD neocons simply adjust the knobs of reality, prime the media pump, and call it good. Despite all the recent outrage over "fake news" they've instructed agencies to dismiss their own accountability office's admonishment and vowed to press on. In a letter to the editor, the GAO comptroller wrote: "The Government Accountability Office stands by its recent legal opinions on prepackaged news stories. The law represents the floor of acceptable behavior." In our government's own words, Bush is beneath acceptability. (via Progress Report)
