Beware of tenured radicals endorsing torture

Prominent libertarian blogger and law professor Eugene Volokh endorses the brutal killing of an Iranian criminal wherein some of the victims' families participate. And how does the law professor tackle that little constitutional problem of cruel and unusual punishment? He advocates for removing that part of the constitution in certain cases. Three exceptionally articulate bloggers rip his position to shreds (while carefully leaving his person unharmed). Matt Yglesias, Digby, and Alicublog. And the next time you hear some right wing talking head decrying the radicals on our campuses, think Eugene Volokh! (Alicublog)
