Several sweetheart articles and broadcasts from JimmyJeff GannonGuckert to then-candidate John Thune (R-SD), warrant a second, and perhaps third, look should any federal investigators be interested in this sort of thing. Of particular interest is Gannon's cozy relationship with two paid pro-Thune bloggers who, while working overtime to baselessly (and ironically) accuse a local journalist of being a part of Daschle's campaign machine, never revealed the fact that they were paid shills for Thune's. Gannon, meanwhile, seems to be groping around for something to save his reputation... (Nashua Advocate)
