Durst: It's Her Body
Let me weigh in with a voice that hasn't been heard for a while when discussing abortion. Anger. Clinton just vetoed a bill eliminating tricky dangerous and rare third trimester abortions. And he's getting crap for it. HEY! Listen real close, because this is going to hurt. It's none of our freaking business. Everybody wants to draw a line. Fetus -- baby. Baby -- fetus. You want to draw a line, I'll draw a line. When it's in the mother's body. That's where the line is. Now if you're asking whether I'm in favor of third trimester abortions, the answer is: damn straight. And if she manages to keep it inside her body for another year, I'm in favor of seventh trimester abortions. And if Pat Buchanan could be sucked back into his mother's womb, not only would I approve of 211th term trimester abortions, I'd be willing to go in there myself with a wire coat hanger to save the mother's life and the country a lot of grief. If you're going to start deciding what my wife is able to do with what's inside her body, then I'm going to want some control over what your wife can do with the inside of her body and I may turn into a vegan before my very eyes. No alcohol, or caramel colored soft drinks. If we can get Coke behind the pro-choice movement, I don't think we'll ever hear and crap from anybody again.
