DURST: A Brave Declaration

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Governor would like to thank everyone for their strong indication of either boredom or support in showing up here today. He is thankful for both."I know you're anticipating an announcement and I'm happy to say your expectation may or may not be realized. The Governor is definitely considering actually making a decision about becoming a candidate soon. I am proud to proclaim he has authorized me to set up an ad hoc panel to investigate the possibility of forming an interim exploratory committee that will plumb the depths of the American psyche with a string on a nail to see if a fleeting groundswell can be reached by his provisional political advisors who have advised him not to answer the many articulate and eloquent questions you have on the various pressing matters of the day, and neither to verbalize any firm positions on practically anything he would be accountable for until he formally and inevitably declares his candidacy sometime much later in the near future."It is not fair to the American people for him to jeopardize his front runner status by prematurely opening himself to sticky campaign killers -- like issues. And he and I and his exploratory committee and his political advisors and his pollsters and everyone else in the party thank you and hope this clarifies everything."Will Durst thinks its all very clear.
