David Kay to Bush: fess up

Posted by lakshmi on March 24, 2004 @ 9:59AM

In a speech at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, former chief U.S. weapons inspector David Kay urged the U.S. to own up to its mistakes regarding Iraq's WMD. He said, "We are in grave danger of having destroyed our credibility internationally and domestically with regard to warning about future events." Kay added, "The answer is to admit you were wrong, and what I find most disturbing around Washington ... is the belief ... you can never admit you're wrong."
