WATCH: Jon Stewart Mocks Republican Grandstanding at Congressional Healthcare.gov Hearing

A few too many references to 'The Wizard of Oz.'

Although Jon Stewart had to concede that the Congressional hearing on the rocky rollout of healthcare.gov with Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was surprisingly on point, he still found plenty of absurd bits of grandstanding to mock on last night's show.

Joe Barton, a Republican from Texas, was the first to introduce 'The Wizard of Oz' references into the precedings, just because Sec. Sebelius is from Kansas. That's the whole reason. Other grandstanders included Rep. Cory Gardner, the Colorado Republican, who repeatedly badgered Sebelius about why she is not in the healthcare exchange, although she patiently explained that it would be illegal. Not to be outdone, Rep. Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee, who has been all over Fox News on this topic, speechified about how Americans like their freedom. "Some people don't want to be sipping Chardonnay from a crystal stem. They want to drink it from a Red Solo Cup," she said, whatever that has to do with anything.

Watch Stewart take the piss out of them:
